what to expect

Rock Lake Solomon Creek Wildland Park is a spectacular setting for backcountry hiking, horseback riding, and fishing. The two most popular destinations in the park include Ogre Canyon and Moosehorn Lake. Ogre Canyon is located close to the town of Brule and requires a 4 wheel drive vehicle with clearance to navigate the rough road to the canyon. Ogre Canyon is renowned for rock climbing, scrambling, and ice climbing on frozen waterfalls. Moosehorn Lake is commonly accessed on horseback. The beautiful lake is surrounded by gorgeous views of the Rocky Mountain front ranges.
