ab parkswhat to expect
Strathcona Science Provincial Park is located between Edmonton and Sherwood Park, south of the Yellowhead Highway and overlooking the North Saskatchewan River. It is a natural area with many trails for activities like hiking, running, and mountain biking. It connects to Rundle Park via a pedestrian bridge and is also the home of Sunridge Ski Hill and Model Aviation Field. Originally, the park had opened as an interpretive center showcasing the area's industrial and archaeological history. However, those buildings have since been removed. This Park is day use only. Gates are closed overnight.
