Some of the features of the park include a kilometre long white sand beach and boardwalk along an inland salt marsh. The park offers two campgrounds (North Rissers and Little Rissers) with a total of 70-sites (26 Wooded; 22 Partially Wooded; 22 Open), comfort station (showers and flush toilets) in North Rissers, dishwashing station (North Rissers), picnic areas, and a large supervised beach, playground, and a short hiking trail.
