Quetico, recognized as an International Dark Sky Park, is a renowned backcountry paddling destination which also features the Dawson Trail Campground located adjacent to Highway 11. The park offers backcountry and car camping, roofed accommodations, seasonal campsites, and day use opportunities. Dawson Trail Campground on French Lake has two campgrounds, Chippewa and Ojibwa, offering tent and trailer sites with some electrical and seasonal campsite options, three rustic cabins and two camping pods. Roofed accommodations are available year-round, with the Winter Retreat cabin being a short walk-in and the Ojibwa Cabin ski-in only during winter.
