Nestled among the majestic balsam poplars along the banks of the Wapiti River just south of Grande Prairie, O’Brien Provincial Park is the perfect place to spend the day. With numerous picnic tables and fire pits available for use, this scenic and conveniently located riverside park offers spacious day use facilities. Alongside the numerous picnic areas, this Provincial Park offers an accessible 1.3km hiking loop in addition to a longer 2.9km loop that takes you through the beautiful boreal forest. This park is open year-round for day use and pit toilets are available on-site.
