Harlech Provincial Recreation Area is located 13 km east of Nordegg on Highway 11. The campground is well-treed, offering ideal sites for smaller RVs and tents. Anglers can fish along Shunda Creek or drive 5 km west along Highway 11 to the stocked trout pond. This location is a staging point for Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts. In partnership with the Rail Trail Initiative , six designated ride-in/ride-out campsites (sites 12-17) are available for OHV users, making it easy to stage your adventure.
