ab parkswhat to expect
Tucked into the prairie grasslands near the Neutral Hills, Gooseberry Lake Provincial Park provides a unique park and camping opportunity, and one of the original provincial parks. Although the park once offered lake-based recreational opportunities, it is naturally aging into a wetland and now provides excellent habitat and viewing opportunities for waterfowl and shorebirds, including threatened species such as the piping plover. Park visitors can explore the many trails on foot or by bike and kids will love to cool off in the added spray park. Visitors will enjoy shade from trees planted by volunteers when the park was first developed in the 1930s, and amazing star gazing.
