Kootenay Plains Provincial Recreation Area offers a unique camping experience with stunning panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, abundant hiking trails and a variety of camping options to suit your needs. Choose from individual campsites in the open grasslands at Two O’Clock Creek campground, or designated Group Camping Areas at Cavalcade that offer ample space for a memorable gathering under the stars. There is a climbing wall featuring belay boxes located behind group sites 4 and 5 that is open to the public. Please respect the camping groups in place and walk around the perimeter of their group site on the designated trails.
