Just a few kilometres from one of Nova Scotia's points of entry, Caribou-Munroes Island Provincial Park makes a marvelous stop on your way to or from Prince Edward Island. A mile long sand beach offers some of the warmest saltwater swimming north of the Carolinas and the campground provides excellent opportunities for camping, or just appreciating nature. The park offers a 95-site campground (39 Wooded, 21 Partially Wooded, 35 Open), comfort station (showers and flush toilets), dishwashing station, all gender/family accessible shower and flush toilet (Loop A), picnic areas, and an unsupervised beach.
